Iprit
Iprit is a raw black metal band from Russia that adheres to the old school brand of the black arts. It contains a bunch of raging blast beats with a few mid-paced parts to provide a bit of recovery time, the guitars are rather low in tune and shred with the fury of a snowstorm, and the raspy screams are as frantic as a lunatic trying to break out of his cell.
Snow City Tapes
From Iprit I landed on Snow City Tapes, which I assume is an obscure tape label from Russia. The text is in Russian so I have no idea what they're about, but what I do know is that they have some weird yet cool shit. So far, my favorite is Bye Dead Horse, which is strange because I don't like post-punk.
Aetherium Mors
Finally, we have Aetherium Mors. This was sent to me by the band itself. They play extremely aggressive melodic blackened death metal reminiscent of Dissection with some kickass riffs that remind me of Vital Remains. I'll need to write a more in-depth review of their work soon.
