Terata – Triumvirate

Triumvirate was the second and last demo Terata released. They broke up shortly afterward. Other than that, I don't know much else about these guys.

The production is better than it was on the previous demo. Everything sounds so much more clear. The music also sounds more like death metal than it did on the previous demo. The tempo is faster and the instruments are more vicious. The bass rumbles under all the other instruments and gives it a much more fleshed-out sound. The drums are much more complex this time around, capable of pulling off much more intricate blasts and fills. The vocals are also much deeper, and thus fits the music much more. The riffs also sounds more similar to death metal, from the structure to the sounds. Even the solos are more vicious.

This is a big improvement over the previous demo, and it's disappointing to know that they broke up shortly after this. They could have achieved so much more.
