Cripple Christ was a brutal death/grind band from the Ukraine that released only one demo then split up. The demo is called Nehaj Isus Gorit u Vogni. Literally, it means “Let Jesus Burn in Fire”, or more figuratively, “Burn Jesus Alive”. Judging by the title, I assume they're atheists.
Since this is a demo, it's obviously going to sound muddy, but your ears will adjust. The guitars are much better than that of their contemporaries. The riffs have more melody to them and are more structured. The drums are also better, as the snare drum doesn't overpower the rest of the music and they do more than the formula of “blast until your arms fall off”. The bass is also more prominent than that of other death/grind bands in the area. The growls are extremely guttural and sort of remind me of Carcass. They're also accompanied by raspy screams that also remind me of Carcass. Overall, this demo is much better than most other death/grind you'd find in Ukraine.
Very little is known of Cripple Christ, but judging by the music, they were very crazy people, but I love 'em. Their music's great too.
