I know next to nothing about Exnecrosia, and I can't find any information about them on Metal Archives. All I know is that they're a black metal band from France and Forever in Love of Darkness was the only thing they released.
Let me just get the bad stuff out of the way. The symphonic sections are too long. They don't add anything to the music and just get annoying. Get to the point!
Now that I got that out of the way, let me just say that the black metal they play is spectacularly evil. They fiddled around with the distortion in just the right way that makes the guitars sound like they are roaring from the bowels of hell. Speaking of guitars, the riffs conjure forth feelings of impending destruction. I think the drums might be programmed, but they don't distract from the music at all. The vocals are totally insane. The croaks and rasps make him sound like an insane warlock who's about to strike you down with unfathomable darkness. There are even growls that sound utterly demonic. Who knew such an obscure album would contain terrors like this?
If you skip over the overly long symphonic parts your ears will be struck by black metal created by an evil force, something that is definitely not of this earth.
