Abemal was one of many Swedish death metal bands who released only a couple of demos before splitting up. Their first demo is called No It Mana Nilighton. I have no idea what that means. The production is lousy, as is typical for early death metal. The drums sound like someone's pounding on cardboard boxes and I can hardly hear the guitars. The music itself is typical Swedish death metal. The drums play fast hardcore-influenced rhythms, the guitars play really crunchy riffs (or as crunch as they can be, given the production), the bass is thick, and the vocals consist of a deep rasp. It's really nothing special. Some of the riffs are catchy, but I've definitely heard better.
They released only one other demo, simply called Demo 94. I can't tell which one has worse production, this demo or the one before it. The vocals are much louder, and although the drums can be heard a bit better, the guitars now sound like a distorted fart. There's not much to say about this demo. It's just more of same substandard Swedish death metal that was on the last demo.
