Look at these douchebags. They look like the bastard children of Ozzy Osbourne. Then again, this photo is from the eighties, so can I really judge an entire decade for their terrible fashion sense? Actually, yes I can, but that's not the point. The point is that I'm bored and I feel like reviewing this band's second and last demo, Target Earth.
After a really pointless intro, we get to the music, and... um, what is this? The production was handled in a way where the bass is really high in the mix and will sometimes swallow up the other instruments into a sludgy blob of distortion. Then again, this is a demo, so what can you do? The guitars play your standard thrash riffs and some of the solos are pretty sweet, but overall, it's pretty average. The drums simply keep the beat, so I can't really comment on them. The vocals, on the other hand, made me laugh uncontrollably. It sounds like a really bad Bobby Ellsworth impression. The mid-ranged vocals aren't that bad, but the high-pitched vocals give me the impression the vocalist has yet to go through puberty. Either that or he was squeezing his balls unimaginably hard.
If it weren't for the vocals, this would have been an okay demo. As it stands, it smells like really bad cheese.
