Bandcamp Roundup Vol. 22

I STILL can't find any good metal on Bandcamp. Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. However, I did find something that was worth my time. It's called Headway Recordings, and they release experimental music on cassettes. Here are some of my favorites.

Cumulus

Peaceful droning ambient. Deep reverberations. Subtle electronics beats. Feels like you're flying through the clouds at sunrise.

Music For Savage Flowers

Despite its name, it doesn't sound savage at all. Instead, it's more ambient, but unlike Cumulus's peaceful sound, this tape has a more doleful sound that feels right at home in an urban setting.

Electrophonic Ghost

Unlike the last two, Electrophonic Ghost plays bizarre space noise, complete with phazer sounds, engine roars, and alien messages encrypted in strange wavelengths. Some parts remind me of Earthbound. Overall, it's an unsettling, otherworldly experience.
