ReverbNation Spotlight: Malefic Order

I was clicking around on ReverbNation rather bored with most of what I was listening to when I felt the desire to listen to Turkish black metal. Turkey is more commonly known for its death metal than for its black metal. Most metalheads don't even know they have a black metal scene. I was clicking around through there and I wasn't all that impressed with most of the bands I listened to until I listened to Malefic Order. These guys definitely know their shit.

Both songs they have up on their page are fast, unrelenting assaults. The drums never stop blasting and the constant crashing of the symbol bring an extra element of calamity. The screams spew demonic malice. Their performance is vicious, nasty, and just so awesome. The guitars are a non-stop flurry of energetic tremolo riffs. Their tone is cold and Norwegian in nature but also burns with intense hatred. Not only do they play lots of great tremolo riffs, they also play a few punkish rhythms to keep things interesting.

Though these guys only have two songs up right now, their work is awesome, and I'm eager to listen to whatever they might put out in the future. Hopefully they'll put out something soon. I can't get enough of these guys.
