Bandcamp Roundup Vol. 38

Vexilla Regis Prodeunt Inferni

Let's start thing off right with some awesome blackened death metal from Mexico. Vexilla Regis Prodeunt Inferni makes music that is blasphemous and uncompromising. The drums are absolutely stellar, the growls are hoarse and menacing, and the guitars incinerate all in their wake.

Dymogrom

Dymogrom is a post black metal band from Israel, and in stark contrast to Vexilla Regis Prodeunt Inferni, their music is quite peaceful and dreamy. The drumming is pretty simple, the guitars have a nice melody to them, and overall, the music has a wondrous atmosphere. For some strange reason, parts of it remind me of Njiqahdda.

Black Art

And now we finish things off with some Russian doom/death. Their music features excellent drums that stand out as clear as day, growls that sound like Kataklysm, and powerful melodic guitars. This album is just plain amazing. I'll have to write up a review of it sometime soon.
