Sectorian – Tears No More

Have you ever wondered what it would sound like if a group of cave-dwelling imps discovered musical instruments for the first time and then immediately tried to play death metal with them? Well, Sectorian have your answer in the form of Tears No More!

The only good thing I can say about this is that the production doesn't sound like a muffled mess. At least they got one thing right. Everything else about this demo is a rancid puddle of buffalo diarrhea. The first minute of the first song is devoted to random guitar noodling that sounds awfully similar to the bad piano at the beginning of Suicide Mouse. After that, we're stuck by musicianship so bad it would make Me'ex sound good. That's right, even the black metal band that uses a Rock Band drum kit is better than these assholes.

The drums are only able to pull off the simplest of rhythms and blast beats. They're dreadfully boring and sometimes he'll end up making a mistake. Even a four year old playing on a toy drum kit can play better than him. Hell, even Me'ex and his Rock Band drum kit can provide better beats than this asshole. The vocals consist of a pathetic attempt at imitating David Vincent. Long story short, they fall flat on their ass, especially when his voices cracks. The riffs? Pfft, what riffs? All I hear is the random strumming of strings and the impotent wailing of the fretboard. All of this is topped off by frequent fuck-ups. Why bother rehearsing? We're here to be brutal!

This is one of the shittiest demos I've ever had the displeasure of listening to. It's as bad as Athron's Slaughter of Angels and it somehow manages to be worse than Me'ex. How the fuck can you be worse than Me'ex!? From what I can gather, they only made a hundred copies of this demo. No one knows where they went. For all I know, they probably ended up in a landfill. Good. That's where they fucking belong.
