As with Necrotomy, there are many bands named Necrolatry. This one in particular comes from Poland. They formed shortly after the fall of communism and released only one demo called Confessions in 1992.
The Metal Archives page lists these guys as melodic death metal, but they sound more like straightforward death metal to me. (The users at Metal Archives never seem to get anything right.) Also, these guys suck. First of all, the production is poor. I can hardly hear anything. Even if they did have good production the music would still suck. The drums mainly play simple blast beats and mid-paced rhythms. Thanks to the bad production, the snare sounds like a hard thump and the double bass sounds like a soft tap.
The vocals mainly consist of a gruff growl that sounds like Barney Greenway's less talented little brother. They'll also sometimes perform this high-pitched scream that comes out of nowhere and quickly gets on my nerves. As for the guitars, they just play your standard death metal riffs. Some of them are fast, some of them are slow. It's nothing special or exciting, but thanks to the shitty production, the riffs sound like a cross between a fart and a cheap synthesizer. Sure, there are a few cool riffs like those on the title track and they play a few wicked solos, but when you factor in everything else on this demo, it's too little too late.
Overall, there are a few good moments, but they are outweighed by the bad, more specifically the bad production, the boring drums, the weak vocals, and the pitiful-sounding guitar tone. It's still not the worst early death metal demo I've ever heard, though.
